Living with the Lions is based on the author's true account of how it feels to grow up in an adopted family. Whether the family a child is placed in is a safe and benign environment, or otherwise, adoption can be difficult to navigate. This book teaches the young reader how to come to terms with the feelings of being different and to embrace their individuality in whichever circumstance they find themselves.
